In 1979, Mikey Dread and his brother Jah T began to play at blues parties and local dances having spent many years under the watchful eye of their father, owner operator of the famous Admiral Bailey Sound. They chose the name Channel One in homage to the legendary Jamaican record label of the same name whose tunes featured heavily in those early selections. Inspired by Bob Marleyโs belief in uniting people through reggae music, Mikey was keen to introduce new people to dub reggae music and started touring around universities, where he secured a solid fan base.
Channel Oneโs mission is to break down barriers via reggae music, they have achieved this by playing new venues, new festivals and different countries, taking their unique sound to Australia, New Zealand, Israel, Turkey and all over Europe. Channel One also celebrated 30 consecutive years at the Notting Hill Carnival making them one of the must see soundsystems for attendees to Europes biggest street festival.

It's almost impossible hearing a party being advertised without the name ZJ Liquid attached to it. The high in-demand disc jockey, who plies his trade on ZIP 103FM, has made quite a name for himself over the last seven years. Not only as a disc jock but recently he has been heating up the airwaves as an artiste. From creating slangs ('Yu zee it') to having a gut feeling of the 'next big thing'(Mavado among others), ZJ Liquid seems to have his ear to the street. All this, he said, comesnaturally because of his love for music. "This is just me. What you hear on the radio and see on-stageis just me. Mi love mi music," he said.

Astro Black grew up in Los Angeles on his father's diverse collection of blues, soul, funk and reggae - which helped set the tone for his musical inspirations. He infuses these creative influences into his own sound, which combines this wide range of styles, blending them together in his own unique artistry. Astro emerged in the early 90's as a DJ not afraid to take risks and transcend the limitations of being genre specific. His musical journey began with him learning drums as a teenager. He played in numerous bands, his favorite being the ones that blended genres and blurred lines. Although Astro has always listened to and loved all styles of music. He has had a deep connection and love for reggae/soul and funk music since the 90's. By the mid 90's he was experimenting with producing. After having released a handful of tracks and remixes under different names, he began to cement his reputation locally, in LA as a talent force. His musical journey took him to reside in London, where the music scene and accessibility to European hot spots were influential in his musical growth. Astro performed at various open mics, jams and busking spots throughout London and Europe. He eventually ended up taking up residence in Australia, where he has been musically active every since.
He has played alongside some of the industry's biggest names. His high energy sets have secured him a solid reputation worldwide, as a party rocking, crowd pleasing act.

BASS FOUNDATION ROOTS is unique in India. At present only two Jamaican style hand built reggae sound system exist in South Asia. The journey began with a crowdfunding campaign in 2015. It took over a year to raise the funds and get the components together to build this system and BFR Sound System was finally launched in April 2016. BFR SOUND SYSTEM is owned and operated by Indian reggae artists Delhi Sultanate and Begum X. aka Samara Chopra, lead singers of The Ska Vengers and co-founders of Word Sound Power. Vrenios) was born and in Washington, D.C. by parents who sang opera and taught voice professionally. He takes his name from his Greek heritage, using a nick- name given to him by his grandmother to represent the lineage that set the tone of his musical path. It was Christos' deep appreciation for the sounds coming out of Kingston, Jamaica that led him to produce and record with legendary reggae artists Sly and Robbie, the Firehouse Crew, The Itals, Augustus Pablo, Sugar Minot and Don Carlos, the original lead singer from grammy winning group Black Uhuru. He also has co-written and recorded with the world-famous Thievery Corporation. He spent several years on the road as a guitarist and backup vocalist, performing in the United States and abroad.
In 2008, he released his first full album, Time to Rise, followed by his second release, Under the Sun which led him to create the D.C. based independent record label Honest Music. His last full-length album Long Road was released on Earth Day 2014, and received critical acclaim. The first single and video Just Talk To Me features Kenyatta Hill, son of icon Joseph Hill from the trio Culture. The summer hit of 2015, Righteous Chant, finds him reunited with Don Carlos. The song Heart Of Gold, a reggae rendition of The Neil Young classic song released in the latter part of last year and topped several charts in Amsterdam.

In January 2016 Earthpipe also performed at the Sunrise Bar at the famous 'Full Moon Beach Party' at Hadd Rin on Koh Pagnan island, Thailand. DJ Earthpipe, has promoted all things dubwize in a career already spanning 25 years that has resulted in him performing at Glastonbury Festival 4 times, Outlook in Croatia, Brixton Academy with Lee Perry & Finsbury Park London. Reggae Rajahs are a crew of DJs and MCs who focus on promoting dub, roots reggae and dancehall music. Formed in 2009, the group has dedicated itself to spreading the sounds of the Caribbean across India.
Reggae Rajahs have opened for Snoop Dogg and Major Lazer and have also shared the stage with a number of established international artists. They have toured across Europe, South America and South East Asia in recent years. They host an international reggae festival every year called Goa Reggae Sunsplash, and are also key part of the hand built 10,000 Lions Sound System, one of two Jamaican style speaker systems in India.
